Edwardian French Diamond & Peridot Ring
Circa 1910. This beautiful French Edwardian 18KT yellow gold ring features a verdant modified brilliant-cut natural peridot set into an 18KT white gold four-prong setting. The peridot is haloed with ten old European-cut diamonds prong-set into a platinum halo setting. The under gallery and the tapered shank are both constructed of 18KT yellow gold. The halo diamonds weigh 1.00-carat in total, with SI2-I1 clarity and F-G color.

The ring measures 16.0mm at the top, rises 6.2mm above the finger, tapering to 1.9mm wide and 1.0mm thick at the base of the shank. The shank is stamped with gold and platinum hallmarks.
